Visitor Policy
INVITING MEMBERS
All visitors should be told in advance to call your cell when they arrive outside or to use the digital intercom to call you
OPENING THE DOOR
If anyone you don't recognize is knocking on the door, etc., please politely tell them they need to use the directory to call their member directly. Do not allow anyone into the building unless they are your guest. Doing so is grounds for cancellation of your membership.
Please DO open the door for FedEx, UPS or USPS delivery people in uniform.
If any city official in uniform (Department of Buildings/Sanitation/etc.) arrives, please tell them they need to call management at the main phone number posted on the door and elsewhere: 917-473-3839.. Anyone saying they are here to inspect should be told they must schedule with management directly. No one should be allowed to simply enter the building and wander around.
Please don’t send random wanderers looking for “management.” Tell them to leave and to use the intercom outside to call the office or dial 917-473-3839
SORRY, NO CHILDREN
Children that are too young to sit quietly in your private office are not allowed at The Harlem Collective, including evenings/weekends. This is a professional office space that is used by members at all times, so young kids running around, screaming, playing, etc., is unfair to other members' ability to work.
