Partner Events
The Harlem Collective partners with not-for-profit and social impact groups to host events that support and enliven our local community. We provide space for the event, and our partners provide the programming. Approved events are only required to pay $25/hour for their event, to cover the cost of the security staffer who monitors all events for compliance with house rules.
If we partner with your group, we ask that you agree to the following terms in order to promote The Harlem Collective’s support of your event. Your help promoting our community support is valued and appreciated as we work to grow our participation in the neighborhood.
Your Responsibilities
Promote
All promotional material you produce should include obvious mention of our support. Please forward an example of your promo material including these mentions (or a photo of such) to partners@theharlemcollective.co
Emails should include a mention like: “Space for our event has been donated by community co-working space The Harlem Collective (www.theharlemcollective.co)”
Instagram or Facebook posts should include the line “in partnership with @theharlemcollective”
Signs, programs or other printed collateral should include our logo, such as “in partnership with [The Harlem Collective logo]”. Sample below. Our logos can be downloaded at www.theharlemcollective.co/logos
Social
Finally, we ask that if you have a social media feed that you do a post about @theharlemcollective at least one time before your event in order to promote our presence in the community. We have posted several images on this web site that you’re welcome to use (or use something of your own) as well as sample caption text used by previous partners, such as “Excited to partner with @TheHarlemCollective community coworking space on our big event next week!”
Announce
At your event, we ask that you make this short announcement either at the start of the event or at a natural break point, such as when returning from intermission:
“Now just a quick promo for our partners who donated space for today’s event: We’re here at The Harlem Collective, which is a community co-working space. In addition to supporting great events like ours, they rent desks and offices to freelancers, small businesses and non-profits for a day, a week, a month or more. You can find out more by grabbing a brochure near the door.”
Be Legit
If you host your event with us, you are responsible for all of your event set-up, execution, break-down and clean-up. All areas of the Collective that were used must be left in the exact same condition in which you found them or a $200 cleaning fee will be charged to your card on file or deducted from your deposit, including:
Putting all garbage into sealed garbage bags in the containers in the backyard
Sweeping up any floor debris
Wiping down all surfaces
Returning all furniture to its original location
Turning off all lights and air conditioners
Locking the backyard door

Apply to partner with us on your event by completing our agreement here. Clearly explain your organization, the event, and the benefit provided to the community. Approved events are only required to pay $25/hour for their event, to cover the cost of the security staffer who monitors all events for compliance with house rules. Applications are reviewed on-going and we will respond to you as soon as possible
